We are active people with full time jobs just like most! </p><p>ACCESSIBILITY: There are no stairs to access the first floor; however there are stairs leading to the second floor. You'll have full access to the entire cabin.</p><p>ENTRY: There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple keyless entry. The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details. We are owner operated! No meeting for keys, just arrive at the cabin! </p><p>SECURITY: There is a camera in place for your protection. If you touch or tamper with the camera you will be asked to leave the property immediately. This is for your security! </p><p>AMENITIES: We provide coffee, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer pods, dishwashing liquid, sponge, trash can liners, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and bath bars. Think of these amenities as a "starter kit", we HIGHLY recommend you bring additional items appropriate for your stay duration such as extra towels, beach towels, blankets, soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, spices, cooking spray, etc. Condiments, zip locks, foil, plastic food wrap and charcoal are NOT provided.</p><p>OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:</p><p>- This is the mountains and cell service may be spotty. We highly recommend you download the maps of the area for offline use prior to travel just in case service is lost so that you can still use the GPS.</p><p>- Because the cabin is in the mountains, the Internet is subject to decreased speeds and outages during bad weather. Even though the internet is usually fine, we cannot guarantee what the internet speed will be during any particular stay. This is normal for the area.</p><p>- The road to the cabin is very long, narrow and winding. Some parts of the road to the cabin are gravel. Turning off the main paved road it will be a gravel road with a slight incline going up to the cabin. The main road is paved the whole way, but 4WD or AWD may be necessary when it snows or gets icy. We recommend that you arrive during daylight hours if you're not used to driving in the mountains. You can park right on site.</p><p>- The cabin is located in a natural environment, so you will likely see bugs, spiders, mice, or furry critters (including bears!). Please be aware that Spring is flying bug mating season. We do maintain the property with regular pest control, but due to the surroundings, or if doors are left open, or food is left outside the house, this can attract critters. We cannot refund money for insects, but we will do everything in our power to remedy the problem. If you see a bear during your stay whether in the park or in the driveway, do not feed it. Stay away from it. Bears are dangerous. Local law requires that food not be left outside at any time unless it is properly discarded in trash cans. The guest is responsible for any run-ins with wildlife.</p><p>- Fall/Winter/Spring is ladybug season in the Smokies and they are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin. They will fly to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes.</p><p>- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Travel insurance is highly recommended. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.</p><p>- Well water is different from city water. It is often crystal clear, but it is possible to see mineral sediment in the water. It is safe to drink, but pack bottled water if this sounds undesirable. Also keep in mind that the hot tub is filled with well water. If the hot tub has a small amount of sediment in the bottom, it is not because it is not clean, but rather because it was filled with well water. The hot tub is completely emptied and cleaned before every stay, and the filter is replaced regularly.- The water in the hot tub may not be hot when you arrive. We change the water before each arrival and it takes some time to heat up. Please keep the lid closed at all times when you don't use it.</p><p>- All guests must be 25+ with the exception of children with their parents.</p><p>- 10 person maximum. If you bring more persons than accounted for on your reservation we will charge you $100 per person over said number.</p><p>- Bunk beds are for children only!</p><p>- Quiet time is at 10 pm. If you're looking to have a late-night party, this cabin is not for you!</p><p>- We do not send maintenance to the property during your stay, only after you depart.</p><p>- The hot tub is for guests 25 and over only. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!</p><p>- No late check-out or early check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $50.00 dollars for the first half hour and $100.00 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.</p><p>- Pets are not allowed. You will be charged $500 if you bring a pet.</p><p>- Smoking is strictly prohibited within the cabin. We ask that you respect our cabin by not smoking inside. We ask that you smoke outside of the cabin, 25 feet away from all entrances -- away from the door or in the driveway, but smoking is not allowed inside the home itself. We ask that you please refrain from discarding cigarettes off of the cabin porch as this poses a serious fire hazard. Any evidence that smoking has occurred in the cabin will result in an additional $500 cleaning fees charged to your credit card.</p><p>- Absolutely no fires!
